🚀 How to Get Started

Step 1. Go to the Download Page

Click the big button below to visit the download page. This is where you will find the latest files to install the app.

Step 2. Download the Installer

On the GitHub page, look for a file that ends with .exe. It is the installer file for Windows. The file name should be something like:

Click the file to download it to your computer.

Step 3. Run the Installer

After downloading, open the file. Windows may ask if you want to allow this app to make changes to your device. Click ‘Yes’ to continue.

Step 4. Launch the App

When installation finishes, you can start the app right away. Look on your desktop or in the Start menu for “MCP Server”.

Double-click the icon to open the program.

Once the app opens, it connects to your GitHub account to show workflow actions. You may need to sign in or connect your account. This helps the app access your workflow data.

Here is what you can do inside the app:

  • View Runs: See a list of all recent workflow runs. Check the status, date, and which repository ran the job.
  • Read Logs: Click on any run to see detailed logs. These show what happened during the workflow steps.
  • Re-run Jobs: If a workflow fails or you want to run a job again, select the run and click “Re-run”.
  • Trigger Workflows: Start a new workflow manually. Use this to test changes or start tasks on demand.

The interface uses simple buttons and lists. You do not need to type anything or run commands.


🔧 Common Tasks and Tips

Viewing Workflow Runs

  • Open the app and wait for the list to load.
  • Runs are sorted with the newest on top.
  • Each run shows the status as Passed, Failed, or In Progress.

Checking Logs

  • Click any run in the list.
  • A detailed log window opens.
  • Scroll through the log to find messages and errors.
  • Use the search box to locate specific terms.

Re-running Jobs

  • Select a run that you want to re-run.
  • Click on “Re-run Job”.
  • Confirm your choice.
  • The app will restart the workflow and update the status.

Triggering a Workflow

  • Go to the “Workflows” tab.
  • Pick a workflow from the list.
  • Click “Start” to trigger the workflow immediately.
  • Wait to see it appear in the run list.

🔒 Security and Privacy

  • The app only accesses data from your GitHub account with your permission.
  • It does not store your passwords. Authentication happens securely.
  • All data stays on your device except for information retrieved from GitHub.
  • Keep your app updated to maintain security and get the latest fixes.

🛑 Troubleshooting

If the app does not run or shows errors:

  • Make sure you are connected to the internet.
  • Check if Windows is updated.
  • Restart your computer and try again.
  • Look for error messages in the logs inside the app.
  • If you cannot sign in, check your GitHub account status and token permissions.

🔄 Updating the App

To update to a newer version:

  • Visit the GitHub download page again.
  • Download the latest installer file.
  • Run the installer as before.
  • It will replace the old version without affecting settings.
