MCPHub Desktop is a GUI application designed to simplify the installation, management, and discovery of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. It aims to enable non-developers to utilize MCP Servers without requiring command-line experience. The application streamlines the process of setting up and configuring MCP servers, making them accessible to a wider audience.

  • Automatically detects dependencies like Node.js and uv (Python).
  • Provides one-click installation for dependencies.
  • Allows browsing of the latest servers from the MCP community.
  • Enables one-click installation and uninstallation of servers.
  • Offers a GUI for configuring and managing server variables.
  • Supports managing multiple clients, including Claude, with more client support planned.

Roadmap

  • Supports user-defined command-line arguments, such as file and directory paths.
  • Will support more clients in the future.
