Tripo MCP Server

Tripo MCP acts as a bridge, enabling communication between AI assistants and Tripo AI (a 3D model generation service) using the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Note: This project is currently in alpha and primarily supports integration with the Tripo Blender Addon.

Current Features

• Enables 3D asset generation from natural language prompts using Tripo's API and imports the result directly into Blender.
• Designed to be compatible with Claude and other AI assistants that support the MCP standard.

Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Python 3.10 or higher
• Blender
• Tripo AI Blender Addon
• Claude for Desktop or Cursor IDE

Installation

1. Install the Tripo AI Blender Addon from the Tripo AI website.
2. Configure the MCP server within Claude Desktop or Cursor.
3. Start creating 3D models by using natural language prompts such as, "Generate a 3D model of a futuristic chair".
